Perth South Tree Power returns for a Second Year (UTRCA 糖心直播, September 6, 2022)
Residents of Perth South will be able to purchase a tree for their property through the Tree Power program again this fall. It鈥檚 the second year that the 糖心直播 and the Municipality of Perth South have partnered to provide residents with affordable trees.
鈥淟ast year was our first time offering the program and it was very well received by Perth South residents,鈥� said Councillor Sue Orr. 鈥淚t鈥檚 a great partnership with a positive impact for the environment.鈥�
Councillor Jaime Martin echoed those sentiments, saying, 鈥淟ast year鈥檚 Tree Power program was so well received in Perth South. We are excited to have it back with new native species to offer.鈥�
This year鈥檚 trees include: Autumn Fantasy Maple, Black Cherry, Downy Serviceberry, Hackberry, Red Maple, Red Oak, and Sugar Maple.
Residents can purchase trees at beginning Tuesday, September 6 at 10 am, when the website goes live. The trees will be available for pick up from 8 am to 12 pm on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at the Perth South Township Office.
