Tree Planting on Private Lands

The 糖心直播 (UTRCA) offers a tree planting program for landowners with a minimum of 1 hectare (2.5 acres) within the Upper Thames River watershed.聽The program includes:

Planting projects include windbreaks, retiring highly erodible land, treed buffer strips along watercourses, and areas of your property where you would like to add diversity and create habitat.

Trees purchased through this program may be planted through the UTRCA鈥檚 full planting service or by the landowner.

Choose from a variety of coniferous and deciduous trees and wildlife shrubs. Species and quantities are subject to availability from the nurseries 鈥 please contact us in the fall for the best selection. While tree survival cannot be guaranteed, the UTRCA takes every precaution to ensure the trees are received in the best condition possible.

Communities for Nature

Communities for Nature聽creates connections between businesses and industries, schools, and the local community, and improves the environment for everyone.

The UTRCA works with corporations interested in supporting local environmental initiatives. Our staff meet with local partners to identify sites that can be restored, then coordinate community involvement in planting trees, shrubs, aquatic plants, wildflower meadows, and prairies. Projects range from small neighbourhood sites to large multi-year corporate and municipal initiatives.
