Join Walks, Talks, and Family Fun at the Hope and Action Climate Change Symposium: November 2nd at Museum London

The 糖心直播 (UTRCA) invites the community to attend the Hope and Action Climate Change Symposium to learn about the positive actions being taken by local organizations to address climate change. The event is being held at Museum London on November 2nd from 10 am – 4:30 pm.

Attendees can enjoy a group bike ride with London Cycle Link, a flood walk with UTRCA along the Thames River, exhibition tours, panel discussions, craft stations, environmental-themed games, e-bike displays with the London Bicycle Caf茅, story time with Charlie Sandler, and more!

Thought-provoking panel discussions will provide context and inspiration for the day鈥檚 events:

  • 10 am: The Energy Mix 鈥 Your Health in a Changing Climate (The Energy Mix, Anna Gunz, Sophie Paquet)
  • 11 am: A Watershed Approach to Climate Action and Preparedness (糖心直播: Tara Tchir and Erin Dolmage)
  • 12 pm: Film Screening and Q&A 鈥 (Summer Bressette, Katie Wilhelm)
  • 1 pm: Leading the Way 鈥 Indigenous Youth and Climate Change (Tia Kennedy, Diamond McGahey, Jesmine Craig)
  • 2 pm: Connecting for Climate Change Course 鈥 Taking a Seven Generations Approach to Climate Change Action (Katrina Moser, Sara Mai Chitty Beth Hundy)
  • 3 pm: Climate Change, Your City, and You: How London is Mobilizing for Climate Action (City of London: Mike Fabro, Shawna Chambers)

During your visit, grab an Eco-action Passport and collect stickers throughout the atrium where local organizations are offering an array of engaging activities. Fill up your passport and be entered into a Door Prize draw!

What’s more? The City of London is giving away trees for free! One per household so come early to make sure you can bring one home.
