UTRCA鈥檚 West Perth听Tree Power program听Returns听for听Third听Year听听
The 糖心直播 (UTRCA) has once again partnered with the Municipality of West Perth to host the听third听West Perth Tree Power this spring!听This popular program provides watershed residents with affordable native trees through partnerships with UTRCA municipalities and sponsors.听听听听
鈥淲e鈥檙e听glad听that the Tree Power program has been so well received in听West Perth.听It鈥檚听a great听way听to get more trees planted thanks to our听partnership with the municipality,鈥� says Rob Davies, UTRCA Forestry and Restoration Supervisor.听听听听听
Online orders will open on听March 9听at听9听am.听The species that will be available for purchase听include:听American Sycamore,听Basswood,听Bur Oak,听Paper Birch,听Sugar Maple,听Tulip Tree,听White听Pine听and听White Spruce.听Trees are $30听each听and residents will be able to pick up their trees on Saturday,听April 25.听听听听

West Perth Tree Power is supported by听the Perth County Stewardship Program which supports landowners and community groups with the financial resources and technical听expertise听to complete projects including windbreaks, ecosystem links, forest restoration plantings, and living snow fences to enhance the natural assets of Perth County and protect agricultural lands.
