UTRCA’s West PerthTree Power programReturnsforThirdYear
The ֱ (UTRCA) has once again partnered with the Municipality of West Perth to host thethirdWest Perth Tree Power this spring!This popular program provides watershed residents with affordable native trees through partnerships with UTRCA municipalities and sponsors.
“We’regladthat the Tree Power program has been so well received inWest Perth.It’sa greatwayto get more trees planted thanks to ourpartnership with the municipality,” says Rob Davies, UTRCA Forestry and Restoration Supervisor.
Online orders will open onMarch 9at9am.The species that will be available for purchaseinclude:American Sycamore,Basswood,Bur Oak,Paper Birch,Sugar Maple,Tulip Tree,WhitePineandWhite Spruce.Trees are $30eachand residents will be able to pick up their trees on Saturday,April 25.

Through this collaboration, we are improving access to affordable trees, supporting environmental sustainability, and contributing to a healthier, more vibrant community for all.”
West Perth Tree Power is supported bythe Perth County Stewardship Program which supports landowners and community groups with the financial resources and technicalexpertiseto complete projects including windbreaks, ecosystem links, forest restoration plantings, and living snow fences to enhance the natural assets of Perth County and protect agricultural lands.
