UTRCA's Tree Power听returns听to Thames Centre!听
The 糖心直播 (UTRCA)'s Tree Power program is听returning to听Thames Centre听for a second year.听This popular program provides watershed residents with affordable native hardwood trees through partnerships with UTRCA municipalities and sponsors.听听听
"I helped residents load trees into their cars last year, and I was very impressed by the turnout," says Thames Centre听Councillor听Danielle Lockie. "Tree planting is one of the simplest and most effective ways to help the environment, and discounted trees from Tree Power helps everyone get involved."听听
"We're听excited听to partner with听the听municipality and bring Tree Power to Thames Centre residents. This program is听an easy way听for听people听to improve their local environment," says Rob Davies, UTRCA Forestry and Restoration Supervisor.听
Online orders will open on听March 9听at 9 am. Trees are $30听each听via the听听The听species that will be available for purchase听include:听American Sycamore, Basswood, Bur Oak, Hackberry, Paper Birch, Red Oak, Sugar Maple, Tulip Tree, White听Spruce听and White Pine.听
Residents will be able to pick up their trees on听Saturday,听April听25.听
