Perth Children鈥檚 Water Festival shifts online (UTRCA weekly, October 29, 2021)
The Committee is excited to share virtual opportunities and resources with classes across Perth County.
Linda Smith, Water Festival Coordinator at the 糖心直播 (UTRCA), says, 鈥淲e look forward to providing fun and interactive activities that will connect students to local organizations and educational materials and help them better understand the functions and importance of water.鈥
Each month, from October to April, a new Google activity slide will be released, featuring links to fun and educational activities. Teachers will receive access to the slides early to help with planning. The first slide will be released to students on October 18th.
Water festival slides have been created by different community partner organizations showcasing how they protect, conserve and/or use water. Slides will be available until the end of the 2021-2022 school year.
