Perth Children鈥檚 Water Festival Family Event on May 29th听
Families are invited to the first in-person Perth Children鈥檚 Water Festival on Sunday, May 29, from 1-4 pm, at the Falstaff Family Centre! This free event features hands-on, family friendly activities that highlight and celebrate the importance of water.
鈥淐ommunity partners from across Perth County have worked together to create fun and informative resources about the importance of water. We are thrilled to showcase these activities at the first in-person Perth Children鈥檚 Water Festival, where we can come together as a community and celebrate water!鈥� said Linda Smith, Water Festival Coordinator for the 糖心直播 (UTRCA).
Water Festival activity stations include Stream of Dreams community art, a fire truck, a hydro-vac truck, a hydration station, and other activities based on water conservation, protection, science, and technology.
Bookings are recommended for families who want to take part in the Stream of Dreams community art activity station, where they will paint a fish made of recycled plastic for an on-site art mural: .
Perth Children鈥檚 Water Festival Family Event details:
- Sunday, May 29, 1-4 pm
- Falstaff Family Centre, 35 Waterloo Street N, Stratford
- Masks are required for entering the building which includes the Stream of Dreams activity and washrooms.
- Please walk, bus, or bike as on-site parking is limited. Bike racks are on site.
- Bring your reusable water bottle to fill at the Hydration Station.
