Tree Power program launches in West Perth听
The 糖心直播 (UTRCA) has partnered with the Municipality of West Perth to host the first West Perth Tree Power in 2024! This popular program provides watershed residents with affordable native hardwood trees through partnerships with UTRCA听municipalities and sponsors.听听听
鈥淲e鈥檙e getting set up for a busy spring and we鈥檙e excited to get more trees into the hands of watershed residents. We鈥檙e very happy to see the program growing and welcome this new partnership with West Perth,鈥� says Rob Davies, UTRCA Forestry and Restoration Supervisor.听听听听
Online orders will open on Friday, February 23 at 8 am. Trees are $25 each and residents are asked to purchase one per property so that as many people can benefit from the programs as possible. The species that will be available for purchase include Autumn Fantasy Maple, Bur Oak, Downy Serviceberry, Hackberry, Native Red Maple and Red Oak. Residents will be able to pick up their trees on Saturday, April 6.听听听
